Other, which includes shared memory pool and system firmware memory. The Virtual Persistent Memory allocated. The Current Memory Allocation section displays the following information for each compared system. The minimum and maximum amount of core usage for the managed systems during the selected date range. The average core usage peaks during the selected date range.A message is displayed if there aren’t any peaks.
You can view peaks by clicking on the expandable accordion. An expandable section for displaying the peaks. The Performance History section shows the following information for each compared system:
#Graphclick mac update
Click Update Table to view the updated data of the core usage for a specific date range in the Performance History table. The Update Table option is enabled only when you select a date range in the graph. After you click Zoom, the graph changes and displays the core usage only for the specific date range. Click Zoom to view the core usage for the specific date range in the graph.
Select or deselect the compared systems to include or remove them from the graph. For samples that are not present for a particular date range, the total core usage is calculated as 0 for that date and time for the particular system. To view missing data for that particular system in the graph, deselect all other systems.ĭata ranges that are not common to all compared systems are shown as zero. Note: Missing data for a system is indicated in the graph with a message in the legend section listing the name of system that has missing data. If the system does not have data available for that date range, the system is greyed out in the legend section and a “No data available” message is displayed in hover help. Each system is shown in a different color for easy comparison. The Y-axis represents the total core usage and the X-axis represents the date and time range. The Stacked Graph section displays the graph of the core usage for the chosen date range. You can modify the date range by using the calendar displayed below the Date Range field, or select the available date range options: Last 24 Hours, Last Week, Last Month, or Last Year. By default, the date range is the last 24 hours. The Date Range section shows the date range for the comparison. The HMC to which the compared system is connected.A managed system can be connected to more than one HMC. The number of partitions indicate the total number of partitions and Virtual I/O Servers (VIOS) present in the managed system. The number of partitions in the compared system. The Current Core Usage section displays the following information for each compared system: For Power Usage, a table of partition core usage for the system. For Storage Traffic, a table of partition storage traffic for the system. For Network Traffic, a table of partition network traffic for the system. For Memory Allocation, a table of partition memory allocation for the system. For Core Usage, a table of partition core usage for the system. This information is displayed as a single-system line graph. An additional system-specific, metric-specific section if you select a specific system.A table of metric performance during the date range for the systems being compared.A stacked graph of the metric performance during the date range for the systems being compared.A tabular display of the current metric performance for the systems being compared.Click Export CSV to export the data that is displayed. You can further refine this to all traffic, single root I/O virtualization (SRIOV) Traffic, or Host Ethernet Adapter (HEA) Traffic. A metric selection drop-down menu with the metrics to compare:.The comparison page with the following sections is displayed: To compare the performance details of specific managed systems, select from two to five systems in the systems inventory table and click Compare. You can view the current resource consumption for all the systems managed by the Hardware Management Console (HMC) in the Resources Summary pane of the performance view, and then select specific systems for comparison. You can compare systems and view detailed metrics for each system.
